U2 frontman Bono was invited to meet with Mayor Michael Bloomberg about philanthropy Thursday.
Bono is a major supporter of charities that benefit AIDS in Africa and the mayor says he's always looking for new charities.
After their meeting, Bono discussed the possibility of Bloomberg running for president.
"He's a great and gifted manager and I think he could do an awful amount of good inside or outside the White House,” said Bono.
According to Forbes magazine, Mayor Bloomberg is worth $11.5 billion.
