Noted fashion designer Giorgio Armani announced that he has collaborated with actress Julia Roberts to design a new bracelet.
The collaboration marks the first time Armani has ever worked with another name on a project and the bracelets will be in honor of World AIDS Day on December 1st.
The leather bracelets will be available in both red and brown, and feature a "Tree of Life" design with the initials J.R. on the inside.
"Julia has helped to create a beautiful accessory ... which will be a visible reminder of the part that we can all play in fighting AIDS in Africa," Armani said in a statement.
Armani has been vocal in the fight against AIDS and proceeds for the new item will go to (PRODUCT) RED, a business initiative started by U2 front man Bono and Bobby Shriver to help combat HIV/AIDS in Africa.
The bracelet will be $175 for women and $195 for men, and will be available online starting on December 1st. The item will also be available in stores starting February 1st.
