U2's Bono and The Edge made a surprise appearance at a London charity gig last week when they played a four-song set for 250 people at Mencap's Little Noise Sessions at the Union Chapel in north London, according to the BBC.
The duo opened their set with "Stay," from 1993's "Zooropa," then performed "Desire" and "Angel of Harlem" before closing the set with a first-time performance of "Wave of Sorrow," a song originally written for their 1987 album "Joshua Tree."
During the set, Bono reportedly joked about the appearance, saying, "Don't tell Larry and Adam we've done this."
